Adoption is already a part of our story! All of our children would tell you that adopting Miles changed all of our lives for the better. When we mentioned the prospect of adopting one more time, they were thrilled! Miles desperately wants to be a big brother and will make an excellent one! Miles’ adoption story has God’s hands written all over it! While we feel the details are ultimately his story to tell, we can share that his adoption was the best decision we have ever made.
When we adopted Miles, we were able to visit with his birth parents to learn what their dreams and aspirations are for their child. We faithfully incorporate those desires into how we raise Miles. We would love to hear your hopes and dreams for your child! If we have the honor of raising him or her, we will strive to raise them in a way that honors you.

My dream since being a young girl was to have a big family…I LOVE children! After Michael and I were married, we quickly started a family and I spent the next eight years pregnant or nursing! Motherhood has been even better than I imagined. It is a challenging endeavor where the work never ends, but when you love where you work, you don’t want it to end! When I am in the presence of children, I feel alive and fulfilled in my purpose.

Adopting Miles was the best decision we have ever made...
I grew up as an only child and have been blessed to experience the gift of a large family from the parent perspective. I am so grateful for this experience because I am able to witness what makes siblings so special! Adrienne and I pursued adoption because we have the strong desire to provide a stable and loving home to a child. Having been through the adoption process once before, we feel prepared and confident to do it one more time-not to mention that Miles asks daily for a baby! Adopting Miles was the best decision we have ever made and we are so excited to add to our family through adoption again!

We love to vacation but we also love being at home! In the warmer months, we are surrounded by well-maintained public and private pools as well as lakeside beaches with waterslides galore–a family favorite!

Our life has taken us on more adventures than we could have imagined. As a family we love all the water sports at the beach and lake. We also love to hit the pool so a lot of our vacation are in sunny warm places!

- We've been married for over 18 years!
- We love swimming, skiing, boating, fishing,and being outside in nature!
- Michael served our country for 11 years in the US Navy. We moved frequently during these years and experienced many incredible places– Okinawa, Japan to name one.
- We enjoy playing chess, checkers, card games, or any sort of trivia game. Big families provide ample opportunities for friendly competition!

While we are an “older” couple, we have never felt more equipped to parent. Having parented two children now to the college age, we have learned so much about what really matters in child rearing, the love and relationship that you share. We are so appreciative of each day, knowing very well how quickly the time goes!
