Amy

Being a stay-at-home mom would be my dream come true. Children have always brought me so much joy. Teaching and caring for children have been the work of my adult life. Nurturing young hearts and minds is not only one of my gifts but also my greatest joy. I look forward to sharing our lives with a precious child in a home that is safe, nurturing, and full of love.

Steven

I am looking forward to being an involved and present father. I want to know my child well and encourage them to discover their gifts and interests. It brings me great joy to prepare my home as well as my heart for this very special time. I am so excited to grow our family and to put our values into practice as parents.

My friends describe me as reliable, thoughtful, and devoted to my family.
I was an Eagle Scout, and I love being in nature whenever I get a chance. Hiking, kayaking, and swimming are some of my favorite hobbies.
I work as a senior manager in information technology. I plan to use my professional knowledge in my parenting to keep my family safe on the Internet.

Take a peek inside our home

We love our home! We have lived here for almost nine years. During that time we have enjoyed renovating and decorating so that our home is a place we love to be. We enjoy hosting friends and loved ones and are grateful to have a home that feels warm, welcoming, and peaceful.

We spend most of our time together in the upstairs family room and around our kitchen table, where we share meals, play mahjong, and talk about our day. The sunroom in the back of our house is one of our favorite places to share a quiet moment.

More than anything, we want our child to feel at home. By cultivating a feeling of security and belonging, we will teach our child what home means. Our greatest hope is that our home will be a place of love and harmony where everyone knows that they belong.

Our Adventures

Travel is one of our favorite ways to spend time together. We value travel as an opportunity to learn more about ourselves, each other, and the world. In recent years, we have enjoyed trips to Switzerland, Austria, England, and Hawaii.

We are grateful that our ability to travel lets us experience the beauty, diversity, and wonder of God’s world. We very much look forward to traveling with a child someday, sharing new experiences and creating new memories as a family.
