We already respect you so much for the love, selflessness, and courage you have shown in considering adoption. We can only imagine that deciding on a home for your child is an incredibly difficult decision to make.
Our heart for adoption includes you. We want to have an open adoption so your child can have an ongoing relationship with you—whether that’s through visits, video calls, pictures, or updates. To us, expanding our family means not only welcoming a child into our family, but also getting to know the people who are an important part of this child’s story.
We created this page to give you a glimpse of our lives. If you’re open to it, we look forward to getting to know you as well.

Andrea
I’m looking forward to being a mother and having a little one to love and care for. I am mostly excited to learn about the unique things that he or she becomes interested in! Whoever they are, whatever they love, I’m looking forward to learning about all of it.
- My friends say I'm caring, selfless, empathetic, and a good listener.
- I am a Christian writer, speaker, and graphic designer. My workplace is incredibly family-friendly and supportive, with the flexibility to bring kids to the office and work remotely.
- I enjoy knitting, baking, reading, hiking, and going on walks.

Tom
I’m excited to get to know our child through every stage and connect with them in the ways they feel most loved. Whether it’s playing airplanes and astronauts, tea party princess dress up, or just talking about their interests. I’m looking forward to it all!

We laugh often and look for fun in everything we do! We can’t wait to be goofy with our child and make them belly-laugh with silly sounds, tickles, and jokes.

We are learners at heart! We’re curious about the world around us and want to learn how things work. We also try to learn about others. We hope to foster that child-like curiosity every person is born with.

We seek to put one another first and live with each other in an understanding way. We hope to teach our child to value family. As parents, we will do everything we can to build healthy, trustworthy, and joyful family relationships.

Take a peek inside our home
Our home is a peaceful place both indoors and out. We take pride in creating a calm, inviting space for ourselves and family and friends. We look forward to welcoming a child into our home and life! We live in a family-oriented neighborhood just outside of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Good schools, beautiful parks, walking trails, and a wonderful library branch are all within walking distance. Our home has four big bedrooms and lots of room to play. Our favorite places in our house are the sunroom, where we enjoy slow Saturday morning coffees, and our re-finished attic, where we enjoy watching movies and playing board games.
Our Adventures
We love to go exploring and to experience different places, history, and cultures. Because our family and friends are scattered throughout the U.S., we regularly visit other parts of the country. Some of our favorite places include New England, Michigan, and Pittsburgh. Road trips are our favorite way to travel, but we also want to explore other countries in the future! We look forward to seeing the world through our child’s eyes and teaching them about different people and places, not only in books but up close!
