Our Heart
for adoption
From the very first conversations we had early on in our relationship, we always knew we wanted to be parents. After building a life together, we never realized how difficult that journey would be. We learned that I could not carry a child early on in our marriage. We tried many different approaches to heal my body in hopes of getting pregnant, but the only option that was left for us to have our own biological child was through surrogacy. We ultimately did not feel comfortable with this approach and came to the decision that adoption was the way we wanted to build our family. The more we talked about adoption, the more peace we felt. We know that building our family through adoption is the perfect fit for us, and when we are given the honor of raising and loving a child, it will be the greatest role and season of our lives yet.

our love story
Life At Home
Life At Home
We live in a beautiful single story ranch style home that sits on four acres surrounded by nature, rolling hills, and beautiful trees. Our house has four bedrooms, six bathrooms, and a large kitchen and family room with plenty of space to relax and enjoy.
On our property, we have fruit trees, a lemon orchard, a vegetable and herb garden, a swimming pool and hot tub, and an outdoor kitchen and barbecue. Our house has felt like our home since the first day we moved in and we can’t see ourselves anywhere else.
We have two grassy yards with lots of room for a jungle gym and many trees to choose from for a future tree house. Our home feels very peaceful, warm, safe, and joyous. We can’t think of a better place to raise our child.
Our Adventures
We love being together and planning lots of fun activities! A typical Saturday is taking our dog for a walk near the beach in the morning, and grabbing breakfast at a favorite spot. We love living by a coastal town that makes weekends feel like little getaways. Some Saturdays we love to go on a hike or a bike ride, or take a drive to a coastal town or the mountains, meet up with friends or family, or go to a concert or sports event.
A few times a year we will drive to Santa Barbara, CA with our dog for a long weekend. We also love going to Big Sur, CA for some hiking and quiet time in nature. Traveling to Colorado to visit family and spending time in the mountains is another favorite thing. We also look forward to our trips to Europe. We love its rich history and beautiful scenery. We can’t wait to take our future child to Italy and have a gelato after riding the carousel!
