  Welcome-

We are so humbled and thankful to know you are taking the time to look through our adoption profile. We have spent a long time trying to come up with the words to adequately describe how much we care for you and admire you for considering such a selfless act like adoption. We hope that through these pages, we can allow you to hear our hearts and desires as we grow our family.

with love,

Sharita and Jeff

our hearts for each other

Our love story

We have been married for over seven years. Even though we grew up fifteen minutes apart from each other in Pennsylvania, we met in Abbeville, South Carolina! We both moved to South Carolina for work in the summer of 2011 and met at a mutual friend’s house one evening.

We love to explore new places together, visiting new towns or cities. We also enjoy outdoor things together like hiking, biking, and boating. We enjoy going out to eat and taking time to just talk. When conflicts come up, we are always quick to have open, honest conversations and resolve any disagreements. We have found that giving grace and asking for forgiveness quickly is always the best way to move forward.

our heart

for adoption

Although we have not had any major problems with infertility, we’ve experienced seasons of infertility. I (Sharita) had a miscarriage in December 2022, and we’ve had some extended periods of trying to conceive and being unable to. However, we have been blessed with three wonderful children whom we adore. There are multiple reasons for us wanting to adopt. One reason is that we feel God is opening the way for us to adopt. A second reason is that we would all be absolutely ecstatic to add a baby to our family; we all (including our children) dream of another baby to love. And a third reason that we want to adopt is that we truly want to be a family that loves others well, including you and your child. We know that God cares deeply for you and we would love to be able to walk this journey with you. Our prayer is that our home can be a nurturing, safe place where your child can grow into a happy, healthy, thriving adult.

We would love to give them a home and a family where they will thrive and grow up knowing that their story started with the deep love you have for them. We are flexible and willing to work with any level of openness. We are committed to praying for both of you, and we hope that you can feel God’s peace as you consider what is best for your future and your baby’s future in the days ahead.

our heart for

for our kids

We are so incredibly thankful for the children God has given us. We absolutely adore them and love being their parents. We love watching them learn and grow. We love spending time with them. We love being able to be the ones to provide for them and tuck them into bed at night.

All three of our children love to swim, so in the summer, we will often go swimming together. We enjoy bike rides and walks in the evenings. We also enjoy vacationing with our extended families in the summer as well as camping in state parks with just the five of us. Most years we go to a house by the lake with one side of the family and then a cabin in the woods with the other side of the family. We love reading to our children and they look forward to the quiet times we have when we cuddle up on a bed or the couch and read through one of their favorite books.

home sweet home

our home

and community

Our house is on one acre of land. The children love to play outside on the swing set, in their fort in the trees, and on the waterslide. We all love to spend time outside together in the evenings sitting around the campfire, working in the garden, playing soccer, and giving the kids rides on the swings.

Our home is a fairly new two-story home in a small, friendly neighborhood in Pennsylvania. Our house has four bedrooms and two and a half bathrooms. We love the area we live in and we are thankful to be close to so many family members.

Have Questions?

Our oldest son is currently attending a private Christian school and we plan to send our other children there as well.

We also feel like the school we have chosen is academically strong, and our children will be able to be challenged there. We love the family feel a smaller school has compared to a large public school.

Christmas is always a big celebration in our home. We try to focus on the reason for the season and celebrate Jesus coming to earth as a baby. Of course, our kids love the gifts they get and we love watching the joy on their faces as they unwrap each one.

We have a lot of other Christmas traditions like making gingerbread houses, going to Christmas light drive-throughs, and decorating the house to make it cozy and festive.

We like to make birthdays special! One tradition that the kids love is that they get to invite whoever they want to their birthday party.

It’s always fun to see who they invite and see their excitement as the day gets closer. Of course, we have a birthday cake, party hats, yummy food, and sometimes a piñata at the party.

Now it’s your turn…

How about you?

Before you go-

We want to say thank you for taking the time to get to know us. If we are chosen and given the immense honor of raising your sweet child, we promise to care for and love them in every way, no matter what. We would love to give them a home and a family where they will thrive and grow up knowing that their story started with the deep love you have for them.

We believe that God has a good plan for both your life and your baby’s life. We are committed to praying for both of you, and we hope that you can feel God’s peace as you consider what is best for your future and your baby’s future in the days ahead.
