We’ve always dreamed of having children, but after three miscarriages, we learned through genetic testing that I (Susie) have a chromosome abnormality that may prevent me from carrying a child to term. Doctors advised that fertility treatments were unlikely to succeed. Despite this, our hearts have always been open to adoption, and we’ve prayed for God’s guidance. He has renewed our hope, reminding us that He can overcome any obstacle.
We feel that this is just the beginning of a beautiful story of how God is working in our lives.
A Strong Foundation
Family time is a priority for us! We’re committed to nurturing our marriage, knowing it’s the foundation of a strong, healthy family. With that foundation, we can create a loving environment for our child. We look forward to making lasting memories through game nights, traditions, exploration, and shared moments of fun.

I work primarily with cancer patients and patients with blood disorders. I feel fulfilled knowing I provide comfort and healing to people who need it most. If we are blessed to become parents, my plan is to spend as much time at home with our little one as possible. I plan to find a work-from-home position as a nurse navigator in oncology.

I work for a local family-owned auto parts company located in most southern states. I help our store staff to get better at their jobs and create tools to help them improve. My job thankfully allows me the flexibility to take off when I need to. I love my job and the stability that it provides us.
going camping and traveling with family, going for drives in the mountains, going to old used book stores, making those memories with Susie, and quality time with extended family.

We Love to Travel!
We have been to Ireland together, which was an epic trip and Josh’s dream trip. We have taken our camper on a road trip along Route 66 to the Grand Canyon. I took a travel nurse position for a year that took us to Texas, the Big Island of Hawaii (we have friends that live there now and cannot wait to visit them again), and Duke in North Carolina. We love learning about and experiencing new places and making new friends.

Our Home
We have a beautiful, cozy, and welcoming home. We have 3 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a beautiful sunroom that we love to spend time in, and lots of bookshelves. Our house is single story with a nice shaded fenced backyard. We have wonderful neighbors that we are friends with. The sense of community in our neighborhood is always something that we had hoped to find someday. We have gatherings with friends and family a lot at our home. We especially love hosting taco night at the house for family and friends.
We live in a large town that has a lot of colleges and good schools. We have all the seasons here, which we love. We live within walking distance to the library, which is conveniently located right next to my sister’s house, who also loves to read. We are involved in our church. It is a wonderful community that we are so proud to be a part of!
